My Modalities
I offer a range of treatments designed to help restore balance, alleviate pain, and support your body’s natural healing processes. Each modality is tailored to your unique needs, with an emphasis on holistic care and individualized treatment.
Bodywork plays a central role in this process. Techniques such as Tui Na, Shiatsu, cupping, Gua Sha, and joint mobilization address structural restrictions to improve energy and blood flow. More subtle approaches, including somatic re-education and craniosacral therapy, work by restoring energetic balance, allowing the body’s structure to normalize naturally. Together, these methods reduce pain, improve mobility, and support whole-body health.
Bodywork
Structure and function are inseparable. The alignment and condition of the body’s muscles, joints, and organs directly influence how the body functions. In Chinese medicine we say, “where energy goes, form follows.” The physical structure reflects long-term patterns of energy flow, and structural restrictions in turn disrupt that flow—much like a boulder in a stream alters the movement of water.
Pain and dysfunction most often arise from this loss of flow. Whether the restriction begins in the tissues or in the energetic system, restoring circulation is essential to healing.
